Droga Pharma Pvt. Ltd. Co. was founded in April 2015 by a group of healthcare professionals with extensive business experience in the pharmaceutical sector. We engage in the import, wholesale, and retail of pharmaceuticals, serving both public and private healthcare sectors in Ethiopia. Additionally, our wholesale division caters to healthcare facilities and organizations in need of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products. From its inception with two employees, Droga Pharma has grown to employ over 400 professionals from diverse backgrounds. We are now expanding our business by establishing a chain of pharmacies across Ethiopia.

Position 1: Junior Nurse


Education: Diploma in Nursing with no experience required.

Job Responsibilities:

Follow instructions from the Physical Therapist and head nurse.
Record and monitor vital signs and perform basic nursing assessments.
Provide quality and compassionate nursing care professionally.
Maintain a clean and tidy therapy area to prevent infection.
Administer treatments such as Electrotherapy.
Set up and organize equipment for physical exercises and treatments, and pack them up afterward.
Interact closely with patients to obtain their medical history.
Sanitize and sterilize all reusable medical equipment and facilities.
Keep records of patients’ daily progress and responses to treatment.
Assist patients to and from therapy areas.
Encourage patients to exercise at home as instructed by the Physical Therapist.
Observe patients closely to prevent other health issues.
Provide suggestions to the Physical Therapist regarding patients’ treatment based on observations.


Position 2: Senior Pharmacist


Education:

BPharm / MPharm or a related field from a recognized university.
Over 5 years of relevant experience.
Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the operations of individual pharmacies.
Ensure the primary role of specialty care pharmacy service provision.
Act as a care coordinator.
Incorporate quality assurance into pharmaceutical practice.
Request products on demand for replenishment from the hub.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for pharmacy operations.
Implement principles of rational drug use, good storage practices, and good dispensing practices.
Apply policies and procedures for all pharmacy personnel in accordance with current laws and best practices.
Work during normal pharmacy hours in the professional services area.
Safeguard keys, key cards, or any other devices allowing access to controlled substances storage areas.
Perform tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Report to the Hub Branch Manager.
