Dodai Manufacturing Plc (Dodai), a recently established company in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, was launched on August 1, 2023. Dodai is a rapidly growing organization with a mission to make e-mobility accessible to everyone in Africa through its innovative products and services.
Dodai plans to provide brand new electric two-wheelers by assembling them in Addis Ababa and aims to expand to major regional cities in Ethiopia by the end of 2024. To achieve these goals, Dodai is looking to engage dynamic Ethiopian talent.
Position 1: Junior Quality Assurance Officer
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
- 1 year of experience working in a factory setting, preferably with similar products (E2W, E3W, etc.)
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to multitask
- Outstanding time management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Hands-on work approach
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Import Operations Supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leading role for importing raw materials
- Experience and detailed knowledge of the processes related to franco valuta
- Experience interacting with the Ethiopian Investment Commission and Kality Customs
- Experience coordinating with international suppliers to ensure correct packaging and documentation
- Expertise in managing international logistics, including freight forwarding and customs clearance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred:
- Experience in the automotive sector and with spare parts
- Proficiency in digital tools for task tracking and process optimization (e.g., Asana, Trello)
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
