Position 1: Quantity Surveyor (Contract Administrator)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a construction company, specifically focusing on Road and Bridge construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure they meet organizational goals and legal standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external entities involved in contract agreements.
- Address and resolve disputes or issues arising during contract execution.
- Identify and evaluate risks related to contract agreements, including financial, legal, operational, and reputational risks.
- Develop strategies and contingency plans to mitigate risks affecting contract performance or organizational objectives.
- Enhance contract management processes, tools, and procedures for improved efficiency and compliance.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned from past contract experiences.
- Execute instructions from Senior Management and coordinate project requirements to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
- Manage contract conditions and requirements, including PPA, FIDIC, Time & Cost Claims.
- Document changes in design and update budgets accordingly.
Position 2: Planning Engineer
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of specific experience in road/highway construction, covering all phases from planning to closeout. This includes experience in earthworks, subgrade, road bases, asphalt, structures, and road furnishing.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare quantity takeoffs for planning and scheduling.
- Assist in creating baseline programs, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and timelines according to the project management plan.
- Maintain detailed planning schedules for new construction and renovation projects.
- Develop and analyze man-hour and equipment resources, cost-loaded schedules, and time-phased plans.
- Create visual aids such as bar charts and network diagrams to explain the work schedule.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to compile status reports.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Monitor project progress against established baselines and identify schedule variances.
- Work with Construction Engineers to resolve project control issues on site.
- Track project delays and document lessons learned.
Position 3: Authority Agent
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with Right of Way processes and relocation procedures with government bodies.
- Ability to manage complex operations involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure project cycles.
- Proficiency in the permitting process and coordination with government units.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all property sites have valid permits for property management operations.
- Handle permit applications for new EEC construction properties, including business and technical permits.
- Renew permits for operational property sites.
- Coordinate with property management offices and departments to ensure complete permit requirements.
- Liaise with local and national government units regarding permit requirements.
- Negotiate with government entities to secure timely permits for property sites.
- Address Right of Way issues with government units for construction projects.
- Manage authority-related tasks and support business needs.
- Coordinate and conduct public consultations.
- Oversee Right of Way and relocation activities.
- Participate in coordination of STD and HIV/AIDS alleviation programs, as well as GBV and gender mainstreaming efforts.
- Provide solutions for social and environmental issues, including risk management and environmental protection projects.
- Update and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical support for social and environmental remediation projects and legal actions.
- Analyze scientific data and perform quality-control checks.
