Position 1: Child Protection Officer

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Education: BA Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct relevant working experience on formal education projects, with at least 3 years in an NGO setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in project cycle management, report writing, computer management, and applications, including data encoding packages (SPSS, SMART).

Duration: 5 years
Location: Adama, with frequent travel to nearby woredas, kebeles, and assigned locations.

Position 2: Finance Officer

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Education: BA Degree in Accounting or a related field from recognized institutes.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of direct related working experience in finance, including 5 years in an NGO setting.
  • Skills: Knowledge of Sun Plus, Peachtree accounting, SFRS, computer management, and applications. Experience with Norad/USAID/BMZ funded projects is a plus.

Duration: 5 years
Location: Addis Ababa (HQ)

Position 3: TVET Officer

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Education: BA Degree in TVET Education or a related field from recognized institutes.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct related working experience on TVET education projects, including 4 years in an NGO setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer management, data encoding packages (SPSS, SMART), project cycle management, and report writing. Knowledge of Afan Oromo is a plus.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Education: BA Degree in Economics, Business Management, or a related field from recognized institutes.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct related working experience on formal education projects, including 3 years in an NGO setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer management, data encoding packages (SPSS, SMART), project cycle management, and report writing. Knowledge of Afan Oromo is a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct related working experience, including 3 years in an NGO setting.
  • Skills: Practical field experience is mandatory. Proficiency in computer management, data encoding packages (SPSS, SMART), project cycle management, and report writing. Knowledge of the Sidama language is a plus.

  • Procedure: Applicants must write the name of the project and the position they are applying for clearly on the envelope. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. Ensure all credential documents are genuine and obtained from recognized higher institutions.
  • Previous ADRA Employees: Must have a clean personal file (attach copy of clearance and recommendation). The performance result should not be less than 90%.
  • General Requirements: Clean clearance and recommendation from prior employers is required if the applicant qualifies and receives a job offer. Female and PWD candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements, pass the assessment test, and qualify for the interview and other recruitment processes as per ADRA’s policy.
