Position 1: Specialist, WASH Engineer
Job Requirements:
- MSc/BSc in Water Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of four years of experience for MSc and six years for BSc in water engineering, preferably within a development or emergency/humanitarian organization
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD and EPHANET/WATERCAD is mandatory)
- Proven positive interactions with USAID and other project stakeholders
- Extensive work and supervisory experience in the construction and rehabilitation of drinking water and small-scale irrigation facilities
- Expertise in technical quality assurance and improvement, with the ability to document processes and implement action tracking systems effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and oral
- Knowledge of the local language and context is an added advantage

Position 2: Manager, Sub Area Office
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Service Management, Economics, Management, or related fields with six years of demonstrated experience in the Ethiopian Health System and/or NGO setting, including two years at a managerial level. -OR-
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Economics, or related fields with eight years of demonstrated experience, including two years at a managerial level
- Proven experience managing at least two donor-funded programs: WASH, FP(AYSRH), and NCD programs in remote regional offices, with decentralized implementation across health programs focused on prevention, care, and support
- Proficiency in English, Amharic, and local languages (Somali in this case), both written and verbal communication
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time within the assignment area
