The African Initiatives for Relief and Development (AIRD) is a non-political, non-religious, and non-profit NGO with country program offices in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Liberia, Niger, Tanzania, Uganda, and South Sudan. Position 1: Operations Assistant


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
Professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA is an added advantage.
3-4 years of experience in procurement, finance, and administration.
Extensive knowledge of the Ethiopian fiscal environment and public procurement.
Familiarity with USAID procurement practices, UN and Ethiopian Government Procurement directives, World Bank procurement procedures, and other NGOs.
Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills in English.
Highly organized, able to prioritize and multi-task, and work well in a team.
