The U.S. Mission in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is actively seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
Position 1: Program Specialist/Regional Refugee Coordinator Specialist
- Educational Requirement: Master’s degree in social work, anthropology, business management, economics, political science, international relations, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible experience in refugee assistance, humanitarian affairs, government relations, or related fields.
- Salary Range: USD $12,764 – USD $35,508 per year
Position 2: Labor/Political Assistant
- Educational Requirement: Completion of two years of university study.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in labor-related issues.
- Language Requirement: Fluent in English and Amharic.
- Salary: USD $14,089 per year
Position 3: Budget Analyst/Accountant
- Educational Requirement: University degree in accounting, finance, or business management.
- Experience: Minimum of four years of experience in accounting, budgeting, auditing, or accounts payable.
- Language Requirement: Fluent in English, good working knowledge of Amharic.
- Salary: USD $14,089 per year
Position 4: General Maintenance Worker
- Educational Requirement: Completion of secondary school and vocational training in plumbing or general construction.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in plumbing and HVAC/mechanical systems maintenance.
- Language Requirement: Good working knowledge of Amharic, limited knowledge of English.
- Salary: USD $8,097 per year
