Open Positions

Position 1: Finance Assistant

Location: Maichew, Ethiopia

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or its international equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in finance-related responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and accounting software.
  • Vocational or specialized training is preferred.
  • Previous NGO experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Fluent in the local language and excellent in English.

Position 2: Finance & Admin Officer

Locations: Chereti, Ethiopia and Filtu, Ethiopia

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, and operational management, preferably in a government contracting environment with internal control reviews.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS/Payroll systems.
  • Vocational or specialized training is preferred.
  • Previous NGO experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Fluent in the local language and excellent in English.

Position 3: WASH Assistant Engineer

Location: Axum, Ethiopia

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Associate degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Social Science, Social Work, Community Health, or a relevant field. Two additional years of experience can substitute for the degree.
  • 0-2 years of national work experience in an NGO setting, specifically on WASH or humanitarian projects.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (AUTOCAD, WATERCAD, Arc GIS, Epanet) is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to form networks and liaise with local stakeholders.
  • Fluent in the local language and excellent in English.

Position 4: Regional Food Systems Advisor

Location: Semera, Ethiopia

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Food Science, Technology, Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Livelihoods, or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of relevant technical and managerial experience in food and agriculture systems or livelihoods.
  • Experience working with government bodies, particularly BOA, and under the National Nutrition Program framework.
  • Proven ability in program planning and management, emphasizing results-oriented management.
  • Experience in organizing supportive supervision and review meetings with government stakeholders and partners.
  • Skilled in monitoring and reporting on activities.

Position 5: Liaison Officer

Location: Jijiga, Ethiopia

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Management, or Social Sciences.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years in a management role involving national and subnational government and NGO humanitarian programs.
  • Deep understanding of national and subnational government and humanitarian response structures.
  • Strong knowledge of humanitarian cluster structures and coordination with UN and OCHA actors.
  • Expertise in partner relationship management, project management, and organizational capacity building.
  • Experience in facilitating reporting, MOU development, proposal review, agreement development, and monitoring.
