Position 1: Financial Inclusion Advisor

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Development Studies, Program Management, or a related Social Science discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management and coordination, particularly in financial inclusion, digital financial services (DFS), product and strategy development, Islamic finance, financial literacy programs, and community awareness campaigns.
  • Previous experience in the financial sector and with international development organizations is beneficial.
  • In-depth knowledge of market systems, including key actors, micro-financial institutions (MFIs), and banks.
  • Understanding of the Markets Systems Development (MSD) approach.
  • Familiarity with Village Saving and Loan Association (VSLA) methodology is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Amharic is required.

Position 2: Clinical Nurse

Knowledge and Experience:

  • BSc in Clinical Nursing or Public Health with at least four years of experience in an NGO, including two years in clinical settings.
  • Training and experience in safe motherhood practices, family planning, IMNCI/ICCM.
  • Skills in program planning, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Experience in peer group training and counseling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and the local language.
  • Strong human relations skills.

Position 3: Health Officer

Knowledge and Experience:

  • BSc in Public Health or Nursing, with at least four years of experience in an NGO, including two years in a clinical setting.
  • Possess robust technical expertise in the case management of both childhood and adult illnesses, as well as safe motherhood practices. Experienced in handling medical complications in severely malnourished children and implementing IMNCI/ICCM protocols. Demonstrated proficiency in program planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Ability to lead mobile teams and foster teamwork.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in English and Afarigna language.
  • Strong human relations skills.

Position 4: Midwifery Nurse

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Diploma or BSc in Midwifery with at least four years of experience in an NGO, including two years in clinical settings.
  • Training and experience in safe motherhood practices, family planning, and IMNCI/ICCM.
  • Skills in program planning, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Experience in peer group training and counseling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong human relations skills.
  • Willingness to work under pressure and extend working hours.
  • Proficiency in English and Afarigna language.

Position 5: Agriculture Officer-Gode

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in General Agriculture, Plant Science, Crop Production, Rural Development, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the private sector and/or NGOs, focusing on MSD (facilitation and technical support), agribusiness, and/or financial services.
  • Strong grasp of the Markets4Poor methodology and market development facilitation, encompassing coaching, relationship building, communication skills, entrepreneurial and business acumen, and innovation.
