Position 1: Economic Affairs Officer
Education:
Candidates should possess an advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in economics, agriculture, agricultural economics, or a related field. Alternatively, a first-level university degree combined with additional qualifying work experience may be considered. Completion of degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics, or data science is advantageous.
Work Experience:
Applicants must have a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in economic research, policy formulation, or related areas. Expertise in climate change and agriculture, along with experience in quantitative analysis and modeling related to climate issues, is required. Experience in data analytics and working with climate-sensitive sectors is desirable.

Position 2: Chief of Staff
Education:
Candidates should hold an advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in economics, business or public administration, finance, accounting, law, social sciences, or a related field. Alternatively, a first-level university degree with two years of qualifying work experience may be accepted. Completion of programs in data analytics or related fields is advantageous.
Work Experience:
A minimum of fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in areas such as human resources management, administration, logistics, or financial management is required. Strong leadership skills and experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams are essential. Experience in international organizations, socioeconomic policy analysis, and data analytics is desirable.

Position 3: Translator (French)
Education:
Candidates must hold a first-level degree from a university or equivalent institution. Successful completion of relevant United Nations Competitive Examinations for Translators/Précis-Writers is required, although exemptions may apply for candidates with prior relevant examination success. Completion of programs in data analytics or related fields is advantageous.
Work Experience:
A minimum of two years of translation experience is required, with preference given to experience within the United Nations Common System or international organizations. Expertise in translating a range of subjects and proficiency in French is essential. Experience in data analytics is desirable.

Position 4: INFORMATION SYSTEMS OFFICER
Education:
Candidates should possess an advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. Alternatively, a first-level university degree combined with relevant experience may be considered in place of the advanced degree. Completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics, or data science is advantageous.
Work Experience:
Applicants must have a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of computer information systems or a related area. Experience in managing VMWare-based data centers, SAN storage solutions, and advanced HVAC systems is desirable. Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco-based networking architectures, deploying high-density Wi-Fi services, familiarity with Cisco Telepresence-based video conferencing, and enterprise desktop management using Microsoft SCCM/SCOM is desirable. Significant cybersecurity experience and proficiency with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform are desirable. Experience using monitoring tools like Splunk for operational intelligence is also desirable. Additionally, experience in data analytics or a related field is preferred.

Education:
Ideal candidates should possess an advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in economics, sociology, political science, development studies, business or public administration, finance, accounting, law, economics, social sciences, or a related area. Alternatively, a first-level university degree combined with two years of relevant work experience may be accepted. Completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics, or data science is advantageous.
Work Experience:
A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in administration, budgeting, finance, human resources management, or socio-economic development with a strong focus on gender and poverty-related issues is required. Candidates should have a strong research record, policymaking analysis experience, and advising governments on economic and social policies. Experience in data analytics or related areas is desirable, along with experience in leading professional teams.

Position 6: SENIOR PROGRAMME OFFICER
Education:
Applicants should hold an advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics, or a related field. Alternatively, a first-level university degree combined with two additional years of relevant work experience may be considered. Completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics, or data science is advantageous. Coursework or a degree in economics or a related field is desirable.
Work Experience:
Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in project or program management, administration, or a related area. Experience in data analytics or related areas is desirable, as is experience working on development-related issues and with multilateral institutions or member States. Experience working with member States and/or their representatives is also desirable.

Position 7: DIRECTOR
Education:
Ideal candidates should possess an advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in science, information technology management, information security, economics, development, business or public administration, finance, accounting, law, social sciences, or a related area. A Doctorate is advantageous. Alternatively, a first-level university degree combined with relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.
Work Experience:
Candidates must have a minimum of fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in information technology management, infrastructure development, economics and policy research, analysis, international development, human resources management, administration, logistics, financial management, budgeting, or a related field. Senior-level experience in program and project planning and management, including digital policies, digital transformation, digital inclusion, and infrastructural development work is required. A strong research record and policy analysis experience are necessary, with extensive international experience and experience with development issues in Developing Countries being desirable. Experience in data analytics or related areas is also desirable.
