PETCO Ethiopia Recycling Community Organization (PETCO Ethiopia) is a nonprofit entity established in 2019, led by industry stakeholders. PETCO Ethiopia is committed to promoting a circular economy approach, ensuring that products and materials remain in circulation through circular design, maintenance, reuse, refurbishment, remanufacture, recycling, and composting. The organization aims to minimize the environmental impact of post-consumer waste by facilitating the transition of the manufacturing sector from linear to circular production systems.

Position 1: Junior Finance Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Manage bank payments for approved invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Oversee petty cash management, maintaining accurate records and processing petty cash transactions. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English preferred.

Position 2: HR Admin & Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Handle HR administration and procurement activities.
  • Build and maintain effective communication channels. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management/Procurement/Business Administration/Economics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of HR and procurement management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated integrity and reliability.

Position 3: MEL Lead

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities.
  • Manage data collection and analysis processes. Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in M&E.
  • Experience in managing M&E systems and data analysis tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in English required.

Position 4: Senior Program Director

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic support to program development and management.
  • Direct the implementation of programs to meet strategic objectives. Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior program management.
  • Experience in business development and consortium management.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs.
  • Fluency in English required.
