Position 1: Security Guard – I (Male)
Job Purpose: The primary responsibility is to bolster the bank’s operational integrity by ensuring the security and safety of its premises, personnel, and ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine patrols to secure the premises and safeguard assets.
- Vigilantly protect the bank’s property against theft, vandalism, fire, and other security threats.
- Promptly report any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Execute additional tasks as delegated.
Specific Duties:
- Mitigate inventory losses by promptly reporting discrepancies and damages.
- Effectively utilize communication devices for clear and concise coordination, if necessary.
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Monitor entry and exit points to deter theft and uphold workplace security.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Completion of 10th or 12th Grade.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in a relevant role within Military or Police service.
- Age: Between 25 to 50 years.
- Work Locations: Multiple branches across Bahir Dar, Andabit, Bati, Azena, Bereka (Harbu IFB), Alif (Chagni IFB), Adet, Amba Giorgis, Arat Mekeraker (Chokie), Abma, Addis Zemen, Anbesami, Bistima, Dabat, Debre Eliyas, Degolo, Densa, Gafat, Haik, Hamusit, Humera, Jawi, Jiga, Kemissie, Kimrdingay, Lalibela, Logia, Maksegnit, Maykadira, Mekoy, Muja, Quara, Sanja, Sekota, Shahura, Shindi, Shinfa, Tach Gaint, Tseda, Wof Argif, Yifag.
Position 2: Security Guard – I (Female)
Job Purpose: Contribute to the bank’s operational security by maintaining a safe environment for personnel and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises security.
- Authorize entry of individuals and vehicles.
- Promptly report any suspicious activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Specific Duties:
- Prevent inventory losses by promptly reporting discrepancies and damages.
- Utilize communication devices effectively for coordination.
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Handle additional tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Completion of 8th Grade or 10th/12th Grade.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in Military or Police service OR four years of experience as a female searcher.
- Age: Between 25 to 50 years.
- Work Locations: Abma, Anbesami, Bahir Dar, Bereka (Harbu IFB), Dargie, Hamusit, Jawi, Mekoy, Miekadira, Muja, Sekota, Shindi.
