Position : 1 IT Officer (Re-advert):

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the installation of all standard IRC software on each IRC computer.
  • Provide support to staff for network, hardware, and software issues.
  • Maintain the proper functioning of the network infrastructure.
  • Ensure the security and virus protection of IRC computers.
  • Regularly monitor office internet usage.
  • Assist procurement officers in selecting appropriate IT equipment.
  • Coordinate IT equipment maintenance with other departments.
  • Develop and implement a field visit program/schedule.
  • Remote monitoring of KACE machines in the field and reporting on their status.
  • Travel to field locations as needed to provide IT support.
  • Conduct periodic audits of IRC computer inventory.
  • Manage helpdesk tickets and assign them to the relevant staff.
  • Oversee the network of Melkadida/Dollo Ado offices, including servers, applications, and the PABX system.
  • Troubleshoot internet connectivity issues and slow connections.
  • Install and maintain local-area networks (LAN) across IRC Ethiopia Program field offices.
  • Configure computers to connect to LANs.
  • Install and configure network software on servers.

Educational Requirements:

  • A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level. Two years of pertinent experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or one year of relevant experience with a postgraduate degree. Relevant experience includes proficiency in networking, system administration, database management, and IT support.

Relevant Experience:

  • Certification or training in CISCO, MCSE, or other ICT areas is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in LAN administration and Windows Server 2008.
  • NGO experience is advantageous.

Position 2: Finance Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with approved budgets, donor requirements, and IRC policies for all bill payments and payment journal reviews.
  • Perform three-way match for all funds before processing approvals.
  • Populate Cost Allocation tool and prepare Dynad journal entries.
  • Process payroll via Dynad journal and review bid analysis and fee requests according to procurement SOP and IRC policy.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and attach bank statements for the final reconciled day of each month.
  • Ensure payment approvals follow the authorized matrix.
  • Regularly update field office authorization matrices for staff.
  • Manage Integra system accounting software.
  • Travel to field sites as necessary.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, commerce, finance, or a similar field.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Four years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or three years of relevant experience with a post-graduate degree.
  • At least one year of managerial experience.
  • Minimum three years of finance experience in a global NGO with a computerized accounting system like INTEGRA.
  • NGO finance experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Fluency in English is required, knowledge of local languages is beneficial.

Position 3: Health Officer

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health or nursing with at least two years of experience, or a post-graduate degree with one year of experience.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in RMNCH (Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health) is preferable.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and monitoring emergency health services and RMNCH activities.
  • Experience in organizing and facilitating training.
  • NGO experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English is required.
