Position 1: MEAL – Accountability and Communication Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, anthropology, or related social sciences.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a comparable role focusing on MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning), accountability, and communication.
  • Experience working in emergency settings and humanitarian organizations.
  • Previous exposure to disability and inclusion issues is advantageous.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in implementing participatory, non-discriminatory, and responsible approaches to accountability to populations.
  • Strong grasp of information management strategies, including data structuring and ensuring data quality.
  • Familiarity with monitoring results and indicators.
  • Expertise in planning and coordinating qualitative and quantitative surveys, project evaluations, and dissemination of findings.
  • Ability to learn from experience and foster continuous learning.
  • Fluency in English and Tigrigna; knowledge of other local languages is beneficial.

Position 2: Finance Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of experience with an international non-governmental organization (INGO) in accounting and finance, including budgeting and budget management.
  • Proficiency in ongoing budget monitoring and reporting.
  • Familiarity with financial monitoring, budgetary systems, and controls, with strong analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of donors’ regulations and guidelines.

Competencies/Knowledge, Ability, and Skill:

  • Ability to manage cash flow and familiarity with banking systems.
  • Understanding of financial systems and procedures.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and partners.
  • Proficiency in using MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, electronic messaging, and internet.
  • Adaptability to work in remote and security-prone locations.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Qualifications:

Position 4: Rehabilitation Team Leader

Qualifications:
