Position 1: MEAL – Accountability and Communication Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, anthropology, or related social sciences.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a comparable role focusing on MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning), accountability, and communication.
- Experience working in emergency settings and humanitarian organizations.
- Previous exposure to disability and inclusion issues is advantageous.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in implementing participatory, non-discriminatory, and responsible approaches to accountability to populations.
- Strong grasp of information management strategies, including data structuring and ensuring data quality.
- Familiarity with monitoring results and indicators.
- Expertise in planning and coordinating qualitative and quantitative surveys, project evaluations, and dissemination of findings.
- Ability to learn from experience and foster continuous learning.
- Fluency in English and Tigrigna; knowledge of other local languages is beneficial.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution.
- At least 3 years of experience with an international non-governmental organization (INGO) in accounting and finance, including budgeting and budget management.
- Proficiency in ongoing budget monitoring and reporting.
- Familiarity with financial monitoring, budgetary systems, and controls, with strong analytical skills.
- Good understanding of donors’ regulations and guidelines.
