National Bank of Ethiopia, established in 1963 by Proclamation 206 of 1963, commenced operations in January 1964. Prior to this proclamation, the Bank engaged in dual functions, namely enterprise banking and central banking.

As the financial sector experiences rapid growth, necessitating efficient management and oversight, the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) plans to establish branches in selected cities across the country. Consequently, the Bank seeks capable Administrative Assistants I to coordinate construction projects at each division building site.

Position: Administrative Assistant I

Job Description:

Welcome and direct visitors, including employees and clients. Prepare reports and other periodic performance documents. Organize and maintain files and records. Manage office supplies and amenities. Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and compile meeting reports. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence. Draft letters/memos and distribute them upon approval. Ensure timely dispatch of outgoing letters and correspondence to the intended recipients. Register all outgoing letters and maintain copies in the appropriate files. Produce and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, faxes, and other documents. Perform additional duties as assigned. Job Requirements:

Diploma or Level IV in Customer Contact and Secretarial Operation Coordination, Secretarial Science, Administrative Secretary, Office Administration and Secretarial Science, Administrative Services Management & Technology System, or related fields. No prior experience required, but CoC Level IV is mandatory. Age should not exceed 40 years.
