Position 1: Senior Information System Security Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives and procedures to monitor emerging threats and vulnerabilities, assessing their impacts and implementing responses accordingly.
  • Establish a functional framework for information security and risk management across the bank.
  • Oversee the timely production of accurate business and IT metrics concerning information risk initiatives, utilizing these metrics to prioritize and address negative trends.
  • Manage the information security management system, including assessing information risk throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with application owners to identify and manage risks associated with key business applications.
  • Conduct regular assessments of information security threats, vulnerabilities, and market trends, determining their potential impact on the bank’s risk posture.
  • Perform information security risk assessments at appropriate intervals across the organization, ensuring key risk issues are identified, communicated, and tracked.
  • Develop and maintain an effective information security architectural approach, ensuring its implementation in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Ensure that processes are in place and staff are adequately skilled to respond to security incidents.
  • Lead efforts to maintain an effective and timely program for managing identity and access privileges.
  • Undertake other related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related fields with 6.5/4.5 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking, including at least 2 years in a similar officer position.
  • Location: Addis Ababa (Head Office)

Position 2: Senior Human Capital Training and Development Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify training needs through job analysis, performance reviews, surveys of staff and managers, and suggestions from executive management team.
  • Design and develop training programs to address identified needs/gaps.
  • Deliver training programs using various methods in compliance with the bank’s regulations, policies, and demand.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback and measuring their impact on employee performance and productivity.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in training and development.
  • Collaborate with other departments/branches to ensure training programs align with the bank’s overall objectives.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience in designing and delivering training programs using various methods.
  • Experience in developing and implementing individual learning plans.
  • Experience in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in Training of Trainers from a recognized organization.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Management, Business Administration, Leadership, or related fields with 5.5 years of experience, or MBA/MA with 3.5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking industry, including at least 2 years in a related officer position.
  • Location: Addis Ababa (Head Office)

Position 3: Manager, Strategic Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Division

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the preparation of the bank’s strategic plan and functional-level strategies.
  • Consolidate and prepare the bank’s annual plan and budget.
  • Prepare periodic monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance reports.
  • Implement corporate and department performance measurement and revise as necessary.
  • Conduct research to assess the bank’s strategic performance and provide advice on research findings.
  • Prepare planning, monitoring, and evaluation reports of the bank in a timely manner and in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Review proposals for major capital expenditures to ensure alignment with plans and determine economic justification.
  • Prepare and consolidate the bank’s action plan.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • BA/MBA/MA in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Economics, Management, or related fields with 8.5/6.5 years of experience in relevant fields, ideally in the banking industry, including 2 years in a relevant senior officer position.
  • Location: Addis Ababa (Head Office)
