PSS functions as a consortium owned by six private banks, namely Awash International Bank, Nib International Bank, United Bank, Berhan International Bank, Addis International Bank, and Cooperative Bank of Oromia.

The company has introduced a pioneering multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to equip its member banks with cutting-edge payment technology. This technology facilitates various payment channels such as ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking, and ensures the clearing of Debit/Credit card transactions for the banks.

Presently, PSS is seeking candidates for the following vacant positions and welcomes applications from individuals who meet the qualifications and required experience outlined for each role:

Position 1: Executive Assistant

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management or a related field

Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

Description of Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the CEO office, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.

Handle reception duties, including responding to inquiries and correspondence via phone and email directed to the CEO’s office.

Prepare and distribute letters, emails, and other materials to member banks and other relevant parties.

Manage the filing system for all documents and correspondence.

Coordinate the CEO’s calendar, schedule appointments, and handle meeting requests.

Arrange logistics for CEO meetings and conferences, including travel arrangements.

Oversee incoming and outgoing mail and ensure office supplies are available.

Facilitate communication between the CEO office, the Board, other departments, and external customers.

Handle petty cash and draft correspondence on behalf of the CEO as needed.

Coordinate local and international travel arrangements for the CEO.

Maintain records of correspondence and other confidential materials.

Assist the CEO with day-to-day tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.

Position 2: Senior Project Management Officer

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Management, Business Administration, Project Management, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.

Preferably trained in Prince2 or PMI with experience in Project Management methodologies.

Relevant certifications are advantageous.

Description of Responsibilities:

Contribute to the implementation of the IT infrastructure’s strategic direction.

Manage the implementation of IT policies, procedures, and documents.

Design, install, integrate, and operate systems to meet business requirements.

Ensure optimal functioning of servers, backup devices, and operating systems.

Monitor server and storage systems, perform maintenance, and coordinate support activities with vendors.

Oversee system delivery and project management.

Conduct performance metrics and capacity planning for system infrastructure.

Execute system upgrades and migrations.

Ensure system reliability and security.

Deliver assistance to users within predetermined service level agreements (SLAs). Work closely with pertinent IT divisions and departments. Maintain awareness of evolving system technologies and industry standards. Coordinate employee training initiatives and foster professional growth. Generate regular reports and address incidents or operational issues promptly. Fulfill supplementary tasks as directed by the supervisor.
