Ethio-Life remained the sole specialized firm in the Ethiopian insurance industry until August 2012. Recognizing the significant potential and viability of the overall insurance sector due to the country’s rapid economic growth, Ethio-Life shareholders were determined to expand the company’s services by incorporating non-life (general) insurance products into its business portfolio.

Position 1: CEO Vehicle Driver

Requirements: Completion of Grade 10, possession of a 3rd-grade driving license, and certification in Auto Mechanics is advantageous. Experience: Minimum 2 years of driving experience. Additional Competencies Required:

  • Fundamental knowledge of driving skills and traffic regulations. Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Warehouse Supervisor

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management/Management or related field from a recognized university. Experience: At least two years of relevant experience in the insurance industry. Preferential consideration for insurance experience. Location: Addis Ababa

Position 3: Senior Human Resource Development Officer

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management/Management or related field from a recognized university. Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a business organization. Additional Competencies Required:

  • Proficient understanding of HRM principles, labor law, and company HRM policies.
  • Knowledgeable in induction and training coordination.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze training impacts and coordinate tasks effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing, supplies management, transport, and warehouse management.
  • Basic computer literacy. Location: Addis Ababa

Position 4: Store Keeper

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Purchasing & Supplies Management/Accounting & Finance or related field from a recognized University/College. Experience: Minimum 1 year for Bachelor’s degree or 2 years for Diploma in a business organization. Preferential consideration for insurance experience. Additional Competencies Required:

  • Understanding of company purchasing and store management policies.
  • Basic warehouse safety knowledge.
  • Familiarity with inventory management.
  • Ability to maintain documents and files.
  • Good grasp of HRM principles and practices.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Dependable and able to work in a team. Location: Addis Ababa
