Requirements:

Professional competencies:

Familiarity with working in complex and risky environments.

Understanding of local contextual factors.

Context/Specific skills, knowledge, and experience:

Understanding of relevant laws and statutory requirements.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Wide-ranging knowledge of NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector.

Strong administrative service orientation.

Position 3: WASH Coordinator

Location: Jigjiga, Somali

Requirements:

Professional competencies:

Degree in Water Engineering, Civil Engineering, Public Health, Environmental Health, or Hydrology.

A minimum of five years of experience working as a WASH Coordinator within a humanitarian or recovery setting, preferably with an international or non-governmental organization (INGO/NGO).

Experience in implementing integrated WASH activities.

Proficiency in Somali and English, both written and verbal.

Context-related skills, knowledge, and experience:

Familiarity with the working context in Somali Region.

Experience in using design software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and statistical packages.

Knowledge and application of SPHERE standards.
