Position 1: Protection Coordinator
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Gender Studies, Sociology, Social Anthropology, Social Work, or related fields
Minimum 3 years of experience in humanitarian organizations, with at least one year in protection programming focusing on gender-based violence prevention and response
Experience in implementing protection, particularly gender-based violence initiatives, in emergency settings
Proficiency in case management and referral techniques
Familiarity with inter-agency gender-based violence guidelines and procedures
Experience in training, facilitation, and community mobilization
Proficiency in project monitoring and report writing
Knowledge of SPHERE, Core Humanitarian Standard, and Red Cross Codes of Conduct
Additional skills in communication, documentation management, time management, and computer proficiency
Fluency in English, Afaan Oromo, and Amharic
Location: Begi district, West Wollega zone
Position 2: Finance and Administration Officer
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or a related discipline is required.
At least 3 years of relevant experience within an NGO setting is necessary.
Familiarity with financial systems, internal controls, and procedures is essential.
Proficiency in accounting software is expected.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities are required.
Capability to manage priorities and produce high-quality work within specified timeframes is essential.
Attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential data are important.
Proficiency in computer applications and G-suite is preferred.
Fluency in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo languages is required.
Location: Harar, East Hararghe, Oromia regional state
Position 3: DMEAL Officer
Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Programme/Project Management, Development Management, Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Disaster Risk Management, or related field
Five years of advancing expertise in crafting program designs, composing proposals, conducting monitoring and evaluation, ensuring accountability, and fostering a culture of learning.
Expertise in proposal development, logframes, MEAL budgeting, and systems/applications
Experience in designing Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning & Accountability systems
Ability to work with multiple partners and in insecure environments
Experience in capacity building of staff and implementing partners
Previous work with NGOs, particularly INGOs and local organizations
