TechnoServe has supported over 200,000 smallholder coffee households in East Africa, aiding them in enhancing their incomes by elevating the quality of their coffee, increasing production, and connecting them with premium markets. Moving forward, TechnoServe is forging innovative strategies and partnerships with corporations to empower more smallholder coffee households in East Africa to attain livelihood security.

Position 1 : Data Encoder

Qualifications : Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields with at least 1-year experience in data entry.
Proficiency in Excel and Word software.
Ability to execute basic Excel functions such as custom sorting, filtering, copying, pasting, freezing rows/columns, and conducting search, find, and replace operations.
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills in English and Amharic.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong computer proficiency.
Effective interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.

Position 2: Senior Gender Coordinator

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferably in sociology, gender studies, social work, agriculture, or plant science.
Minimum two years of professional experience, preferably in gender equality, social inclusion, or community development projects.
Experience in coordinating training and/or meeting logistics at the community level.
Proficiency in facilitating training at the community level, with preference for gender-related training.
Strong commitment to advancing women’s economic empowerment.
Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively with flexibility.
Effective interpersonal communication skills.
Fluency in local languages (Sidama for Bensa and Oromifa for Bulehora), Amharic, and English (listening, speaking, and writing).
Computer literacy.

Position 3: Analytics Manager


Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, agribusiness, economics, rural development, statistics, or relevant field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: 5-7 years of progressively responsible professional experience, preferably in management consulting or private sector.
Proficiency in analytical skills, including constructing basic business cases and communicating economic opportunities in the horticulture sector.
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including financial modeling and presentation deck development.
Demonstrated capabilities in market system analysis and designing project interventions across the value chain.
Significant experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships.
Proficiency in both Amharic and English, coupled with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities in English.

Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
Workplace: Addis Ababa, with frequent travel
