NTE’s headquarters is situated in Addis Ababa, with additional offices strategically placed in Robi, Bilatte, Wolyatte, and Hawasa, near its tobacco farms.

Job Title: Trade Marketing Representative

Qualifications: University degree or equivalent in marketing, economics, or a business management-related field, Proficient in English, and confident in using MS Office.

Experience: While not mandatory, experience in an FMCG environment is considered an advantage. A valid driving license is essential.

The incumbent will be responsible for comprehending and validating their territory, developing and optimizing a route plan to efficiently cover key outlets. Their primary objectives include implementing Trade Marketing Programs to enhance NTE brand market share and positioning, supporting wholesalers, and conducting top-up sales in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Management of the target retail outlet universe, ensuring product availability and effective trade programs to boost brand and sales performance.
  2. Address out-of-stock occurrences by conducting top-up sales and identifying potential sales opportunities in coordination with the regional sales team.
  3. Support and monitor wholesaler distribution activities to ensure adherence to recommended prices.
  4. Collect market data using SFA, draw insights for improving overall brand performance, and combat illicit trade.
  5. Advise retailers on compliance with country laws and regulations and maintain positive business relationships.
  6. Expand NTE brand distribution in the assigned territory, introducing brands to new outlets and implementing product launches.
  7. Ensure proper handling of company resources and compliance with labor agreements, internal regulations, and safety policies.
