World Vision Ethiopia is seeking qualified candidates for the following job vacancies:

Position 1: Child Protection and Gender-Based Violence Prevention Coordinator

Job Requirements:

Required Education: BA Degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or relevant fields of social sciences.

Required Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in child protection, gender-based violence, and related areas, with program/project development and management expertise in emergency contexts.

Proven experience in designing and conducting child protection and GBV training for various stakeholders.

Direct case management experience and familiarity with working with children, women, and adolescents are advantageous.

Knowledge and experience in Gender-Based Violence programming, including prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), is an asset.

Extensive training in CP/GBV, psychosocial well-being, case management, and application of international technical guidelines and standards in Child Protection and GBV.

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement: Frequent travel to the project implementation Woreda.

Position 2: Project Officer

Job Requirements:

Required Education: BSc in Clinic nursing, Midwifery, Clinical psychologies, and Health officer.

Required Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Primary Health Care Service delivery, sociology, project management, development studies, and nutrition service.

Knowledge and expertise in the Ethiopia Primary Health Care System and MHPSS protocol.

Ability to establish strong relationships with government, community, and other partners in the project operational areas.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and networking skills.

Prior NGO experience is desirable, with proven experience in supervising, coaching, and mentoring.

Willingness to work and travel in often challenging environments.

Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.

Knowledge of the local language.

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications:

Strong training ability.

Flexibility in working practices, including the ability to work long hours and with incoming surge teams.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Commitment to Save the Children values.

High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including influencing, negotiation, and training.

Outcome-driven, possessing the capacity to question established perspectives.

Good expertise in planning, coordinating, and implementing work activities.

Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and internet navigation.

Position 3: Integrated Livelihood and Nutrition Security Project Officer

Job Requirements:

Required Education: BSc/MSc in Natural Resource Management, Agricultural Economics, Plant Science, Horticulture, Development studies, Agricultural Extension, and related fields. Technical training qualifications required in Water Resources/Hydraulic engineering and other related fields.

Required Professional Experience: 5 years of experience in Integrated Livelihood and Nutrition Security related areas, with a preference for economic development and relevant experience with INGOs.

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement: 10% field and 90% work at AP area.
