Educational Requirements:

Professional Experience:

Preferred: Experience in NGOs, construction, and water supply schemes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of senior-level management experience in donor-funded programs.

Previous experience with USAID-funded programs.

Experience in public health, GESI, water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), private sector WASH, or related fields in Ethiopia.

Solid grasp of USAID’s community Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) initiatives, public health strategies, and gender-focused programs in Ethiopia.

Experience with NSAs, community construction/platforms, and capacity building of CSOs and/or FBOs.

Proven leadership in designing, managing, and implementing international donor-supported programs.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Experience recruiting, developing, and managing local and international teams.

Track record of commitment to sharing knowledge and supporting creative initiatives.

Fluency in Amharic and English.

Position 3: Learning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Director

Requirements:

Minimum Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field.

Understanding the Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) approach employed by USAID.

7 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of USAID grant experience.

Proficient in report writing, analysis, monitoring, and evaluation.

Ability to design and manage assessments, baselines, and evaluations.

Competence in statistical packages (SPSS, STATA, ODK).

Knowledge of various technologies for programming, such as GIS and mobile solutions.

Excellent communication skills in Amharic and English.

Requirements:

Understanding of the Humanitarian/Development industry, specifically WASH programming.

Post-Graduate Degree, preferably in Women and Gender Studies, Development Studies, or Social Science.

At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an I/NGO context.

Expertise in team leadership and facilitation.

Demonstrated capabilities in high-level strategic visioning and effective engagement with local and national authorities and the private sector.

Excellent communication skills in Amharic and English.
