Aggar MFI, the premier private microfinance institution established under Proclamation No. 40/96 (currently replaced by Proclamation No. 626/2009), aims to cater to the financial needs of the “missing middle” by providing credit and savings services in both urban and rural areas of the country, aligning with social and profitability goals. Founded by 443 shareholders with an initial capital of Birr 4,243,600.00, Aggar has since grown to over 750 shareholders, with a paid-up capital exceeding 200 million and total assets surpassing 410 million.

Aggar Micro Finance S.C is seeking qualified professionals for the following positions:

Position: Attorney

Qualification: LLB/Diploma in Law

Experience: 2/6 years of relevant expertise

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, is mandatory.

Work Location: Hossana

Position: Credit & Saving Officer II

Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, or a closely related field.

Experience: 2/4 years of relevant experience in a Micro Finance Institution

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is mandatory.

Work Locations: Addis Ababa & Adama

Position: Credit & Saving Division Manager

Qualification: BA degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics, or related field

Experience:

6 years of related microfinance or banking experience, including 2 years in senior positions

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles & practices

Comprehensive understanding of credit management, resource mobilization, and reporting

Excellent knowledge of the financial regulations of the national bank

Good understanding of company governing policies

Ability to oversee & control branches

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, is mandatory.

Work Location: Head Office

Position: Motorcyclist Postman

Qualification: 8th Grade complete & 1st Grade driving License

Experience: 1 year of relevant experience

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is mandatory.

Work Location: Head Office
