Vision Fund Micro Finance Institution (S.C) is an establishment established under proclamation No. 40/96 to provide financial services to the economically disadvantaged in both rural and urban areas of Ethiopia. Currently operating in four Regional States, Vision Fund MFI is actively seeking candidates for the position of Customer Service Manager B. Successful applicants should possess skills and experience aligning with the following requirements:

Position: Customer Service Manager B

1. Primary Responsibilities

Oversee overall portfolio growth and portfolio quality.

Ensure the verification of clients’ existence and assess the creditworthiness of their businesses.

Chair the Branch Credit Committee (BCC) and participate in evaluating, approving, or rejecting loans within specified discretion.

Supervise saving deposit and withdrawal processes in accordance with policies.

Coordinate progress areas and projections for disbursements.

Plan and control branch liquidity and loan repayments.

Manage, coordinate, and supervise branch staff, ensuring efficient service delivery operations.

Plan personnel capacity, recruit new staff, implement fair and equitable HRM practices, and evaluate existing staff in line with management decisions.

Supervise the economical use of material resources (Generator, Motorcycles & Vehicles) and ensure timely servicing.

Maintain high morale among branch staff, identify capacity-building needs, and ensure adequate and up-to-date training is provided.

Undertake annual performance appraisals and staff development plans.

Manage the branch and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

2. Qualification and Technical Skills Required

Bachelor’s or diploma in economics, accounting, business administration, management, banking, marketing, cooperative studies, agricultural economics, agriculture, or related fields in social sciences and business.

Relevant experience of two years for a diploma and four years for a degree.

Determined character with initiative, perseverance, and the ability to motivate and manage a team.

Capability and willingness to take responsibility with a highly developed sense of rectitude.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to plan and manage budgets, including a basic understanding of accounting.

Coaching, facilitation, mentoring, and coaching skills.

Excellent communication and marketing abilities.

Location: Amhara Chacha, Debre Eba, Mekoy, Mendida Branches
