Job Position: Chief Security Officer
Education: Minimum degree in police or military science
Experience: 7 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
The Chief Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the organization’s assets, employees, and visitors. The following are some of their typical daily duties:
Regularly patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises to deter criminals and ensure a safe and secure environment.
Evicting trespassers and violators, detaining perpetrators while adhering to legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive.
Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to established protocols.
Monitoring surveillance cameras to detect any disruptions or illegal activities.
Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents to management.
Testing security systems and, if necessary, operating X-ray machines and metal detectors.
Utilize the provided communication devices, like two-way radios, to convey information clearly and concisely.
Performing CPR or first aid when needed.
