Position 1: WASH Team Leader

Primary Responsibilities and Key Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Architecture) or in public health/WASH/environmental health from an accredited institution.
At least 5 years of experience in NGOs, especially in WASH project management for displaced populations, returnees, and vulnerable host communities.
Proficiency in local languages and English (spoken and written).
Proven track record in project monitoring and management, stakeholder coordination, and strategic planning.
Understanding of WASH with an emphasis on public health engineering.
Ability to travel up to 60% to field locations.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in multi-sectoral projects, such as FSL, gender, and protection, in conjunction with WASH.
Skills in basic business functions (logistics, finance).
Capability to mentor team members and work effectively under pressure.

Position 2: Senior Grants and Partnership Officer

Primary Responsibilities and Key Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in International Development, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within an international NGO.
Strong background in project cycle management, contract oversight, and multi-sectoral program management (WASH, food security, and livelihoods).
Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with local and national NGOs.
Proficiency in English and Amharic with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills:

Competent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and knowledge management.
Flexible to travel and work in varied settings, including medium to high-risk areas.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field from a recognized university.
Minimum 7 years in financial management with 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role, preferably in a large or complex organization.
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Willingness to travel on short notice, even in challenging situations.

Proven skills in influencing, strategic thinking, and commitment to humanitarian principles.
