Position 1: Food Security and Livelihood Manager
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Security, Nutrition, Humanitarian/Development Studies, or related field.
- Experience: At least 6 years of relevant, progressive experience, with a minimum of 2 years in management roles in INGOs, focusing on FSL, HN, WASH, and project management. Experience in financial project management is essential.
- Skills: Strong commitment to humanitarian principles, with an understanding of crisis contexts such as drought and conflict. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Other: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, work in a multicultural setting, and demonstrate accountability.
Position 2: Child Protection and Migration Advisor
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Social Science; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in an international NGO setting, specializing in child protection and programs addressing child migration and displacement.
- Skills: Strong technical expertise in CP programming, experience working with government and partners, and proficiency in project design and coordination within humanitarian contexts.
Position 3: Awards Specialist
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management.
- Experience: 7 years, with 2 years in award management.
- Skills: Proficiency in local laws, strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, and readiness for adaptable work practices, especially in emergencies.
Position 4: Public Health and Nutrition Officer
Requirements:
- Education: BSc in Nursing with a background in Public Health.
- Experience: At least 3 years, with 2 years in emergency health and nutrition, specifically in maternal and child health.
- Skills: Competence in CMAM, community mobilization, and excellent interpersonal skills, with adaptability to extended work hours in dynamic environments.
Position 5: WASH Officer
Requirements:
- Education: BSc in Water Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years, preferably with NGOs.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and WaterCAD, along with fluency in English and Afan Oromo. Ability to work independently in high-stress conditions.
Position 6: FSL Officer
Requirements:
- Education: BA/BSc in Agriculture, Livelihoods, Rural Development, or related field.
- Experience: 3 years, with 2 years in livelihoods, NRM, DRR, or food security interventions in pastoral settings.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Cash Transfer Modality, community mobilization, and reporting. Familiarity with Oromia region and Oromo language is advantageous.
