Position 3: Senior Accountant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant (minimum 2 years)
- Thorough understanding of basic accounting principles
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes under ERCA
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Peachtree, and proficiency in MS Excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts
- Prepare error-free accounting reports and present results
- Analyze financial data and summarize the financial position
- Reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables, and subsidiary ledgers
- Assist with cost building sheets for imported items
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare interim financial statements and budgets on schedule
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards
- Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documents
- Coordinate receipt, disbursement, and analytical options
