Position 1: Cluster Coordinator, Malaria Vaccine Introduction

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Service Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in public health programs, with a focus on immunization, maternal/child health, malaria control, and vaccine introductions.
  • Proven experience in project planning and management.
  • Formal training and demonstrated understanding of vaccine introductions and malaria control programs.
  • Hands-on experience in designing, planning, implementing, and evaluating health interventions, policies, or strategies is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage programs at the national level.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining partnerships with government, donors, and international organizations.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed, multicultural teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team setting.
  • Proficiency in English and Amharic is required.
  • Willingness to travel to Woredas (approximately 60%).

The Cluster Coordinator will be based in the Regional/Zonal EPI unit and report to the Regional/Zonal RMNCH head and their immediate supervisor at PATH.

Position 2: National Project Coordinator, Malaria Vaccine Introduction

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Service Management, or related fields.
  • At least 10 years of experience in public health programs, with demonstrated expertise in immunization, maternal/child health, malaria control, and vaccine introductions.
  • Experience in project planning and management.
  • Formal training and knowledge of vaccine introductions and malaria control programs.
  • Practical experience in leading and managing national-level programs or interventions.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships with governments, donors, and international organizations.
  • Skilled in collaborating with geographically dispersed teams in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in English and Amharic is required.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 30%).
