Position 1: Senior Financial Management Specialist

Qualifications:

  • Education: MA/MBA/MSC/ACCA in Accounting and Finance.
  • Experience:
    • 15 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance, with preference given to those with experience in internationally financed development programs or familiarity with World Bank guidelines and procedures.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Peachtree Accounting software.
  • Experience working in the specified regions is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in the health sector is preferred.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with World Bank projects is advantageous.

Language Requirements:

  • English: Fluency required.
  • Regional languages: Working proficiency in the respective regions is mandatory.

Core Competencies:

  • Management & Supervision: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Peachtree Accounting.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication: Capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Experience mentoring junior staff and fostering teamwork.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and practices.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Location: Afar, Benishangul, Dire Dawa, Gambella, Harari, Somali, and South Ethiopia regions.


Position 2: Zonal Third-Party Monitors (TPM)

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in nutrition supply chain management at a leadership or zonal level within a nonprofit organization.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Nutrition, or Public Health.

Skills and Proficiencies:

  • In-depth understanding of aid sector supply chain policies and donor regulations.
  • Knowledge of Health Supply Chain Management and project management experience.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and digital technology.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Experience in training and coaching teams.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical capabilities.

Location: Somali Region.
