Position 1: Cellars and Filtration Operator

Qualifications:

  • 10+3 diploma from a TVET college with 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the brewing sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor cellar and filtration operations.
  • Organize and manage filtration and fermentation materials.
  • Conduct and supervise each filtration and cellar process during your shift.
  • Operate software and hardware according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Monitor fermentation and lagering tank temperatures.
  • Report any issues in the process to the supervisor promptly.
  • Prepare ingredients for filtration and cellar processing.
  • Ensure all processes are conducted safely, efficiently, and effectively to meet brewery objectives.
  • Optimize processes and suggest improvements.
  • Record filtration and cellar data accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain comprehensive production records throughout various stages.
  • Verify the accuracy of recorded data.
  • Implement personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols and workplace organization.
  • Clean and maintain equipment as per schedule to uphold quality standards.
  • Adhere to 5S principles in the filtration and cellar areas.
  • Identify and properly use PPE in various operational areas.

Quality, Safety, Health & Environment (QSHE):

  • Support the implementation of the QSHE Management System by understanding and adhering to policies, objectives, and procedures. Report any violations or issues affecting QSHE.

Position 2: Store Supervisor – Raw Materials

Qualifications:

  • BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, with 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage storekeeping functions.
  • Verify incoming supplies against specifications.
  • Strictly follow receiving procedures; reject unacceptable products and inform the supervisor.
  • Properly stock purchased items to facilitate effective material management.
  • Update stock records and prepare issue vouchers for timely submission to Finance.
  • Ensure accurate data entry in store management software.
  • Comply with company guidelines for store transactions and fixed assets.
  • Ensure proper usage and maintenance of all store equipment.
  • Initiate orders when stock reaches reorder levels.

Documentation & Workplace Organization:

  • Distribute and maintain completed store vouchers and records.
  • Track all incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Ensure storage areas and equipment meet minimum standards.
  • Implement standard operating procedures for store operations.
  • Apply all recommended safety measures.
  • Label items appropriately with necessary information.
  • Supervise casual staff.
  • Keep the workplace organized and neat.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in store areas and implement preventive measures.
