Position 1: Partnership Coordinator
Job Requirements:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience, with a postgraduate degree or a first degree in fields such as Project/Programme Management, Compliance, Organizational Development, Strategic Planning, Systems Development, Governance, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning.
- At least 4 years of experience in management.
- Experience working with diverse teams.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance Effective Partnerships: Work with directors and technical coordinators to develop and sustain a comprehensive understanding of the local actor landscape in Ethiopia. Establish, nurture, and maintain a network of strategic partner relationships, including those with women-led organizations.
- Collaborate with Area and Technical Coordinators to identify potential local partners and initiate communication.
- Partner with the program quality director to ensure partnerships are integrated into new program development and support the creation of program concepts that prioritize partnerships.
- Lead engagement with CSOs, INGOs, government bodies, the private sector, and UN networks, advocating for collaborative approaches.
- Assist the country team in advocating with donors to align approaches and requirements with local actors’ priorities.
- Participate in and drive country office partnership initiatives, including working groups and thematic meetings, identifying system improvements, and ensuring an effective and cohesive approach to partnerships.
- Document and share learning from Ethiopia’s partner engagements globally within Concern Worldwide as appropriate.
- Ensure partners are informed about compliance requirements and oversee their adherence to donor, organizational, and other applicable standards.

Position 2: Procurement Officer (Maternity Cover)
Job Requirements:
- BA/BSc in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
- 4 years of relevant experience with a first degree or 2 years with a postgraduate degree.
- NGO experience is advantageous.
Skills Required:
- Basic supervisory and managerial skills.
- Proficient technical and report writing skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Handle procurement activities for Tigray projects in accordance with Concern’s procurement, warehouse, and finance policies.
- Perform necessary accounting, documentation, and reporting procedures post-purchase, adhering to procurement procedures.
- Serve as the point of contact for procurement inquiries in the region, providing timely updates on purchase statuses to relevant staff, such as project managers.
- Ensure goods and supplies are procured according to specified requirements.
- Complete required paperwork before initiating supplier payments.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely acquisition of project goods and supplies.
- Properly manage and account for all advance cash and cheques related to purchases.
- Maintain scanned records of all procurement documents.
- Work with the warehouse and transport team to ensure timely dispatch of procured supplies to the region.
